Ms. Rose Espinoza started the organization in 1991 with a vision to end generational poverty by making academic resources available to youth at-risk for academic failure or delinquency. Ms. Espinoza has a passion for educational advocacy and community engagement. She continues to be a fearless advocate for youth.
Omar Cuevas Ramirez
Site Leader & Data Specialist
Omar joined the organization in Spring 2019. He is currently a Senior at California State University, Fullerton majoring in Kinesiology. After graduation Omar plans on pursuing graduate school in the science field. This year he will help track the organization's data and progress.
Hia Alhija joined the organization in 2020. She is currently a student at California State University, Fullerton double majoring in Biology and Kinesiology. Upon graduation Hia hopes to attend Physician Associate school and persue dermatology. She enjoys traveling and reading.
Maya Equihua joined the organization in 2020. She is currently a student at La Habra High School and a member of the National Honors Society. She enjoys playing volleyball and looks forward to studying Psychology or Political Science in the future
