Committed to the Cause
Ms. Rose Espinoza started the organization in 1991 with a vision to end generational poverty by making academic resources available to youth at-risk for academic failure or delinquency. Ms. Espinoza has a passion for educational advocacy and community engagement. She continues to be a fearless advocate for youth.
Christine Ngo joined the organization in 2019 as a Site Leader.
She graduated from California State University, Fullerton and majored in Public Health. This year she looks forward to implementing STEM related activities to help diversify our student's education.
Site Leader & Communications Specialist
Jasmine Garcia joined the organization in 2019. She is currently a senior at California State University, Fullerton majoring in Marketing. This year she will use our social media platforms to share children's growth and experiences at Rosie's Garage.
Site Leader & Data Specialist
Omar Cervantes joined the organization in 2018. He is currently a Junior at California State University, Fullerton majoring in Kinesiology. In the future, Omar aspires to become a doctor. This year he will help track the organization's data and progress.
Hia Alhija joined the organization in 2020. She is currently a student at California State University, Fullerton majoring in Chemistry. Upon graduation Hia hopes to attend Medical School.
Maya Equihua joined the organization in 2020. She is currently a student at La Habra High School and a member of the National Honors Society. She enjoys playing volleyball and looks forward to studying Phycology or Political Science in the future
